8.20.10. Swim School (SOOC)
Thanks for all of your fun comments on Winnie the Pooh's house!
These koi live in a big pond at a Japanese garden that's close to us. I went one early morning several weeks ago. I didn't get that many interesting shots, but I did get this one. They kept following me as I walked around the pond, and would churn up the water something fierce begging for food...silly spoiled fish!
8.19.10. The Little Squater!
Shortly after we moved into our house 16 years ago, we noticed that someone else had moved in too! It's so fun to come home and see little footsteps through the ivy and the doors of Pooh's house slightly ajar! When I first put it up I was hoping that other neighbors would put up the rest of the houses, but that never happened. This little place is quite a fun feature on our street.
8.18.10. Slipin' and a slidin' - old dock in Placencia Belize.
OK friends, here's the deal :) I started back to work today and didn't have any time to take pictures, so I had to dip way back. I'll continue to try to post the night before but the real bummer is that I won't be able to make comments until late in the afternoons.
I hope you won't forget me, I really enjoy your comments and I'll for sure keep up, it'll just be late in the day. I'm sure it will all iron out! Happy Thursday :)
8.16.10. Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of a Teenage Summer.
A couple of years ago the county and our neighborhood decided to put some of these circles on a couple of our streets. Soon they were being used by the more creative teens as gathering places. So every once in awhile there will be a group of boys playing cards in one or friends just hanging out in another, just like this! And thanks for the fun comments on Russell and I at the beach :)

Thanks for all the thumbs up on the teasel seed pod! I really appreciate your comments.

Have a good week everyone.

8.13.10. Street Artists, San Francisco .

I still can't get the pictures from the museum trip off of my memory card, I'm so disappointed. So for now I'm posting this from the end of July and now I'm going to convince Russell that there's nothing more he'd like to do than go back to San Francisco tomorrow and retrace my photo steps--sure wish I had some leverage, but my birthday's not 'til March and our anniversary was last month-RATS! :) Have a great weekend!
8.12.10. We had a great time in San Francisco today...a 13hour day of fun! I'm trying to squeeze every last minute out of summer before school starts. I have some great pictures but my memory card refuses to be read- grrrrrrrr. I'll work on it tomorrow, for now I hope you'll be happy to view these pale mauve roses, they are such a strange color!

Thanks to all of you who took the time to comment on the houses!
8.12.10. Sun Sets on The Painted Ladies
These are most photographed houses in San Francisco because of the city scape behind them. They are located in the lower Haight and are across the street from Alamo park. Our daughter is so fortunate to be living right around the corner from the beautiful park and these gorgeous houses.

We're off to the city today to see an exhibit at the De Young Museum, so I'll comment on your pictures this evening
